TikTok has Increased the Length of Videos to 3 Minutes

TikTok has increased the maximum length of videos to 3 minutes. Earlier it was 60 seconds.

This update has now tripled the length of videos on TikTok. Tiktok has rolled out this update worldwide. 

In your TikTok profile, you will get a notification stating that you have early access to upload videos up to 3 minutes long.

You can upload videos from the TikTok app or desktop. Try the new update.

User can upload, edit and record three-minute videos using the TikTok app.

It shows that user have a bigger canvas to work with.


By expanding the length of the video to 3 minutes, TikTok is trying to stay ahead of its; competitors like Facebook Stories, Instagram Stories, YouTueb shorts, and Snapchat stories.

Facebook stories, YouTube Shorts, and Snapchat stories length is up to 60 seconds. Instagram reels length is 30 seconds.

TikTok has increased the length of TikTok videos to 3 minutes.

It will allow experts, professionals, and educators to launch 3 minutes tutorials.

Now TikTok users can create content for the TikTok platform only.

It will give TikTok an advantage as users will find everything in one app.

We are waiting to see the reaction of Tiktok users and what developers have to offer to make people stick with the platform.

TikTok has already tested longer videos with a limited number of creators.
